GSW 2023 Seacoast Century a Success!
Congratulations to all riders who participated in the 2023 Seacoast Century, our 49th year!
While the forecast was gloomy it was a great day and we managed to dodge the raindrops, and then only passing sprinkles, until the very end.
By the numbers:
1000 registered riders, 82 being GSW members,
380+ riders picked up their registration packets Friday afternoon,
769 riders thumbed their noses at the forecast and hit the routes on Saturday!
Our many volunteers did a great job and were thanked repeatedly by the riders.
A survey was sent to the riders with responses to be reviewed and considered to make this annual event even better next year on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
We will remind all 2023 participants with an email and post info in Pedal Talk, our website, and on our Facebook page with the latest news.
We look forward to seeing everyone next year as we celebrate our 50th Seacoast Century!
